Spar Lancashire School Games Holiday at Home Programme

Happy Spring Half Term!!!!

Thank you to every school, family and individual that has accessed the Stay at Home Programme and Stay at Home Heroes challenges over the past 5 weeks. We’ve had great feedback and after half term we will be back with a new weekly timetable. So please keep using the resources and engaging on social media using the #lancsgames20

However we’ve not stopped just because it’s half term. Below are some resources and activities for you to do during half term, that will encourage you to go outdoors and explore your local area, wildlife and nature. There is a new Stay at Home Heroes Challenge , and other half term challenge ‘Catch the Drop’ for you to have a go at, and a ‘Photography competition’ courtesy of your Lancashire School Games Organisers.

Photograph your favourite outdoor and green space in your local area. We’re proud to be Lancastrians and love our county. We hope you do to, so please take a photo of your favourite local outdoor space to be within a chance of winning a Instax Mini Camera worth £75. Prize for pupils KS1, KS2 and Secondary Schools.

Half Term Challenge – Catch the Drop Have a go at this great fun challenge set by Wyre & Fylde School Sport Partnership.

Ramblers Step Challenge Try one of the step challenges this half term. Can you climb up 412 flights of stairs to reach the summit of Scafell Pike?

Girlguiding Adventures at home Activities and adventures to keep yourself occupied during this difficult time – fun for kids, adults, everyone! Start the Half Term off with the Adventures at Home festival (23rd May)
